Introduction

Hello to the void :)

Over the past few years I was reading so many poems all the time, unfortunately in the past year I have not read any and I have truly missed reading them. I have also gotten into the habit of listening to the same playlists over and over again.

These two bummers in my life need to be rectified, so I have commenced a new project. I will attempt to read a new poem a week, (mainly using poetry.com) and I will try to make a playlist based on the poem I read. I will log my project here as a sort of public diary.

my apologies to any poet whose poems I use, and if my interpretations do not live up to your work. i am trying my best. also, i might use photographs to help inform the overall project.

also, if i do not credit the photos it is only because i did not know who the artist is. if you do, please let me know and i will edit and credit the artist.

Imagining trying to explain to my 12-year-old self that John Green is your favorite non-fiction author and Hank Green is your favorite fiction author

Not only that, but John Green abandoned writing YA novels in favor of selling coffee because being an unpaid coffee company intern turns out to be (quite literally!) a more efficient way to raise money to strengthen impoverished healthcare systems.

Francesca Bridgerton really info dumped about her special interest to John Stirling and he said, “I can’t think of anything witty to say in response but I can leave abruptly to give her a grand gesture relating to what she just told me.”

And Francesca really said, “I’m so grateful I literally cannot wait to perform this piece. I’m gonna leave abruptly even though both my suitors are in front of me.”

This is the kind of autistic x autistic relationship I dream about.
